The Agassiz Baldwin Community presented the 12th Annual Hip Hop Festival for School Age Children, February 21, at the Baldwin School. The show featured six acts and coincides with Black History Month.

Alan Ball, screenwriter of American Beauty, spoke to a screen writing class at Wellesley College, Thursday, February 21. His new movie "Towelhead" was written by Wellesley College professor Alicia Erian. It is scheduled for release in August.

Don’t Forget the two days to go until Valentine’s Day. While some people wear their heart on their sleeve, Zach Bender, 2 1/2, takes a different approach. He was with his mom Kim to take part in an event by The Wellesley Mother’s Forum; members and their children met at the Wellesley Free Library on Tuesday, February 12, to make Valentines cards to brighten up Valentine’s Day for local seniors.
