THE CRUSE SEASON AT THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS STADIUM KICKED OFF ON THURSDAY, APRIL 14, 2016. THE COOL WEATHER MAY HAVE BEEN THE CAUSE OF A LOW TURNOUT BUT, AS USUAL, THE CORVETTE CONTINGENT WAS WELL REPRESENTED.

BOSTON MARATHON 120th RUNNING ~ APRIL 18, 2016

ON COMMONWEALTH AVENUE IN NEWTON, MA JUST PAST NEWTON CITY HALL.

Ethopians Lelisa Desisa (R), second place finisher and Lemi Berhanu Hayle, first place finisher in the 2016 Boston Marathon make their way up Commonwealth Avenue in Newton just past city hall heading for Heart Break Hill. 

Running through Newton, Atsede Baysa, from Ethopia, took first place for women in the 120th running of the Boston Marathon finishing 29th overall on Monday, April 18th, 2016.

American woman elite runners Neely Spence Gracey, 9th place woman and 69th overall and Sarah Crouch, 11th place woman and 97 overall race up Commonwealth Avenue, near Newton City Hall,  in the 120th running of the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18, 2016.
