 BAY STATE CORVETTE CLUB

FALL FOLIAGE TOUR ~ OCTOBER 18, 2020

ON A SUNNY FALL DAY A GROUP OF CORVETTE FRIENDS GOT TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE THE SEASON. FOR MANY IT WAS THE LAST CRUISING EVENT OF THE YEAR AS WE PREPARE TO PARK OUR CARS FOR THE WINTER.

THE DAY STARTED IN MILFORD WHERE THE GROUP MET FOR OUR DEPARTURE TO DAVIDIAN FARMS IN NORTHBORO. THIRTEEN CORVETTES AND ONE MUSTANG WERE ON THE WAY.

FROM THERE IT WAS OFF TO VISIT THE OLD STONE CHURCH IN WEST BOYALSTON. "

"The Old Stone Church was built in the early 1890s to replace the Baptist church which had been lost in a fire. Hardly 10 years later, it had to be abandoned for the reservoir. Because it was built of stone and was clearly going to be a scenic attraction, the commonwealth was persuaded by townsfolk to let it remain. It stands alone on a point of land by the side of the water as a reminder of what was lost to the reservoir."

ONE MORE STOP AT BERLIN ORCHARDS TO END A GREAT DAY AND THEN IT WAS OFF TO LUNCH FOR SOME WHILE OTHERS HEADED HOME.
